How we got started?
During the summer of 2004, Peter Wright toured Canada in a 21 foot travel trailer, doing cooking demonstrations and media interviews from the trailer. Peter would pull up in front of grocery stores, book stores, TV stations and newspaper parking lots, make a meal from his cookbook and give out samples.
The goal was to show how easy it was, even for the most 'domestically challenged', to make a mom-like meal - as long as you had basic knowledge of proper food handling and cooking techniques.
Now, in every sampling program we do, consumers get a little bit of usable knowledge - nutrition, food handling, meal planning, and so on - in addition to the food they're sampling.
