Peter is the Montreal-born author of Cook Like a Mother! Clean Like a Pro!
The Single Dad's Guide to Cooking and Cleaning, a book considered one of the 5 top books for single parents by singleparents.about.com, and Home Ec for the Domestically Challenged, a book Canadian Living Magazine called "a must-have for first time cooks, a fun resource for anyone learning their way around the kitchen", a book that Leslie Beck found "a witty, highly readable and informative guidebook for the culinary novice". Both books have been praised for their humour and making cooking more attainable to first-timers. Peter toured the country with his 'Home Ec-mobile', a 21 foot travel trailer, appearing on ATV, CFCF, City TV, CKY, CFRN, CFCN, Global BC, and many other TV stations, providing cooking and food safety tips. Peter has been interviewed on radio in Canada and the US - CFRB radio, Toronto 1, CBC Radio stations in 13 markets, WBZ in Boston - and has been reviewed in many newspapers including The Toronto Star, The Detroit News, The Toronto Sun, The National Post.

Peter runs a cooking demonstration/sampling program called The Best of Meals Made Simple and The Best of Summer from his 21 foot trailer, programs that combine home ec information - safe food handling practices, meal planning, etc. - with product sampling.

Peter teaches Cooking for the Domestically Challenged and Cooking 101 and spearheads an initiative run by Early Years Ontario/Vita Manor's Growing as Parents program aimed at teaching new parents how to make healthy and quick meals and is the host and creator of Today's Choice (www.todayschoice.ca), a third-party television commercial initiative.
